[Case Study] Energy-related Equipment Manufacturer Company D

A product that satisfies you through proactive design proposals! Introduction of examples of difficult-to-cut materials processed into complex shapes and thin-walled designs.

Company D, a manufacturer of energy-related equipment, requested assistance with the processing of difficult-to-machine materials (SUS304) that require deep grooves measuring approximately 2mm in width, 50mm in depth, and 1000mm in length. They expressed a desire to maintain thin walls and strength while also keeping costs down. In response, we proposed test cuts with groove widths of 2mm and 3mm. We confirmed that there were no issues with the strength of the remaining groove thickness even at a width of 3mm, and this option was adopted. We were able to reduce costs to two-thirds. [Case Study] ■ Product Name: Energy-related Product (Turbine) ■ Material/Size: SUS304, 600×850×60 ■ Estimated Delivery Time: 2 months ■ Tolerance Level: ±0.05 ■ Lot Size: Spot *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
